Product Description
The Computer Cool School is a kid-safe USB computer peripheral that includes a kid-friendly QWERTY keyboard, writing tablet and stylus and CD ROM software that helps preschoolers in getting ready for school. The CCS is an expandable system with each additional piece of software consisting of 5 Learning centers and one field trip activity. The 5 Learning centers are: Reading and Writing, Math, Art, Music, and Science. Each center is represented by a physical button on the base hardware that are used to access those activities. Children can also print out reward certificates and supplemental worksheet-type activities from each center, while parental controls lock the child out of the desktop, prohibits internet access, and limits the number of prints the child can create. Very pleased with this toy. Allows my daughter to be independent with the computer. Easy single push button access to applications. Easy to manipulate between activities. Makes her feel as if she can really "do it herself". Loves the pink keyboard. Easy to install and competitively priced through Amazon. May be worth noting that the Computer Cool School requires a computer and monitor. Also good to know that the letter and number cards for the writing application come with the keyboard and do not have to be purchased separately. Great item.

This is something that kids can grow with... can buy several different 'characters' (Dora, Scooby, etc.) to add to their collection. My nephew is 2 1/2 and LOVES it!!! His isn't pink though...

The stylus is too bulky for kids age 3 - 6. Fisher price should make a better stylus for the appropriate age. Everything else is great.

as much as I love the idea of this game, I got it right as my daughter started to show left handedness. This makes it really hard to have the keyboard on one side then lean across your whole body to write. You would think in 2009/10 handedness would be less of an issue but you cannot change sides on the writing area. This bothers me but overall the toy is very good for toddlers (I purchased for a 2 year old) on up, you don't NEED to buy the extra games, there is quite a bit that comes with it.
