I bought this globe for my homeschoolers. I was even suprised by the quality of the globe.. My kids really liked it too.. they like to look at it and try to find new places and then make me teach them about them..
The only thing I didn't like about the globe was the base was plastic and not something a little more sturdy. So, I wouldn't recommend it for small children without supervision.. Other than that.. its better than any globe I have seen at department stores..

Perfectly suitable for use given price at the lower end of the scale. Good size with more informational detail than expected (ocean currents, etc.)

The globe is very colorful and detailed.
The globe is very light weight and probably would not take much abuse.
My children are older so it was perfect for us.
Would not recommend for young children.
I am very happy with my purchase.
